JAN ERIKA X ORAC
JAN ERIKA X JULIAN CHICHESTER
Commissioned in collaboration with Julian Chichester, The Church of Pattern is Jan Erika’s deeply personal homage to the childhood church her father co-ran in Lincolnshire.
As a child, she sat for hours beneath its stained glass windows, watching the light dance across oak leaves and fields beyond, imagining those scenes as paintings. The work celebrates both those formative visions and the boldness of the 80s aesthetic that shaped her earliest love of colour and pattern.
Conceived to align with Julian Chichester’s iconic design language, exceptional craftsmanship and elegantly refined finishes, the piece embodies a dialogue between heritage and contemporary interiors.
Ideal for statement living rooms, architectural foyers, bespoke lounges or serene library spaces, the work commands presence while bringing warmth, rhythm and originality.

JAN ERIKA MURAL COLLECTION X MURASPEC
The background for this mural collection is dedicated to the beauty of nature, inspired by the unique style of Jan Erika Design, drawing upon the intricate interplay of form, depth, and patterns found in the natural world. Utilising a fusion of organic shapes, vibrant colours, and mesmerising patterns, the designs seek to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the diverse landscapes and ecosystems that surround us.
Drawing from Jan Erika’s signature style, the murals incorporate elements of surrealism and abstraction, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a visually captivating journey through the natural world. From lush forests and majestic mountains, to serene seascapes and intricate botanicals, each mural serves as a celebration of the inherent beauty and complexity of nature.
The design process involves careful research and observation of natural phenomena, allowing for the creation of dynamic compositions that capture the essence of each subject, while also showcasing Jan’s unique interpretation and artistic vision.
Through a combination of bold brushwork, intricate detailing, and innovative use of perspective, the murals aim to transport viewers to a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, inviting them to explore and connect with the beauty that surrounds them.
THE ERNO COLLECTION
Inspired by the visionary Brutalist architect Ernő Goldfinger and the striking silhouettes of his iconic London buildings, Jan Erika’s Erno Collection reimagines the bold geometry of the era into a series of contemporary wallcoverings.
Drawing on the power of architectural form, Jan transforms sharp lines, concrete textures, and monumental structures into dynamic patterns softened with her painterly hand. The collection balances strength and fluidity — angular silhouettes contrasted with warm, earthy tones and expressive brushstrokes that bring a human energy to the discipline of Brutalism.
Designed for both residential and commercial interiors, these wallcoverings create statement backdrops that are at once modern and timeless. Whether enhancing a luxury home, boutique hotel, or creative workspace, the Erno Collection invites bold design into spaces while maintaining versatility and warmth.
A tribute to architecture, art, and fearless creativity, this collaboration with Muraspec reflects Jan Erika’s ability to translate environments into living, breathing works of art.
THE ATHENA COLLECTION
Inspired by Athena—the goddess of wisdom, arts, and strength—this new wallcovering collection embodies the power and creativity of visionary women who shaped the art world.
From the raw emotion of jazz to the bold expressions of surrealism, each design carries a sense of wholeness and strength, much like the iconic women who influenced it.
Drawing from the spirit of Nina Simone, Georgia O’Keeffe, Maria Callas, Frida Kahlo, and Yayoi Kusama, the Athena Collection translates their unique artistry into striking patterns.
Whether it’s the soulful intensity of Simone’s music, O’Keeffe’s organic forms, Callas’ dramatic presence, Kahlo’s vivid storytelling, or Kusama’s avant-garde vision—each design in this collection tells a story.
This is a celebration of art, music, and the timeless power of female creativity, woven into designs that speak with boldness and beauty.
JAN ERIKA X JACARANDA RUGS
‘The Balearic Collection’, consists of four designs inspired by the diverse landscapes of Mallorca, from the golden coastal caves of Sa Calobra to the verdant greenery of Valldemossa. Jan Erika’s designs epitomise Jacaranda’s love for handmade textures, natural materials, and refined colour palette.
Each rug has been hand-tufted in renewable fibres TENCEL™ and wool. They demonstrate contrasting textures, artisan carving and varying pile heights to create rugs that will add impact and sophistication to any interior.
JAN ERIKA X ARGILE
For Argile Peinture’s Ciel Collection, Jan Erika created a series of nine bespoke paintings inspired by the brand’s curated palette of 72 shades. The collection, drawn from the shifting colours of skies around the world, offered a rich spectrum of tones that became the foundation of her work.
Each painting translates the subtle variations of light and atmosphere into dynamic compositions, reflecting Jan’s instinctive dialogue with colour, movement, and nature. The project celebrates the shared ethos between artist and brand; both committed to elevating interiors through the expressive power of colour.
The resulting works embody a sense of rhythm and depth, while showcasing how a palette can transform into living art. Together, Argile and Jan present a vision where paint and painting merge, offering designers and collectors alike a unique encounter between craftsmanship and creativity.

Jan Erika x Domus Tiles – A Gathering
Commissioned for the Domus Hosting Kitchen in collaboration with Roundhouse Design and Designed by Woulfe, A Gathering is a hand-painted mural that anchors the showroom’s Hosting Kitchen. Flowing across the wall and banquette seating, the composition features interwoven faces and figures that embody the spirit of the design community — a celebration of the many creative voices who come together in this space.
Painted in harmonious Argile tones, the mural resonates with the earthy palette of the kitchen and surrounding materials, creating warmth, rhythm, and continuity. Both striking and subtle, A Gathering reflects Jan Erika’s instinctive dialogue with people, pattern, and place — transforming the Hosting Kitchen into a vibrant canvas for collaboration and conversation
JAN ERIKA X REBEL X ROCKETT STUDIO
Jan Erika x Rebellion Pizza X Rockett Studio
Commissioned by Rockett Studio for the new Rebellion Pizza in Guernsey, this mural transforms a space rich in history; Once a food store during the island’s occupation in the Second World War, into a celebration of resilience and community.
Jan Erika’s design captures the strength and unity of the people of Guernsey through abstract human forms painted with loose, expressive brushstrokes. The figures appear intertwined and connected, symbolising the shared spirit that holds communities together through challenge and change.
A bold yellow slash cuts across the mural as a mark of rebellion and individuality. It stands as a visual statement against conformity and as a tribute to the power of people coming together.
The result is a striking and soulful piece that honours Guernsey’s past while reflecting the courage, creativity and collective energy that define its present.
JAN ERIKA X MARIE’S CORNER X BEL PRIZES EXHIBITION
Jan Erika x Marie’s Corner for BEL Prizes Exhibition
For the 2024 edition of the BEL Prizes at Autoworld Brussels, this unique Art Seat was created in collaboration between Marie’s Corner and London-based artist Jan Erika. Held from 29 November to 1 December, the exhibition theme “When expertise meets art” celebrated the fusion of technical craft and creative vision.
Painted in rich tones of deep blue, forest green, pale ivory and muted teal, the chair’s abstract forms echo organic motifs such as leaves, wave shapes and fluid brushstrokes. The composition moves across the seat and back, creating a visual rhythm that feels alive from every angle.
Jan’s signature layering technique and intuitive use of colour and shape transform the functional seating object into a sculptural artwork. In this piece the boundaries between furniture and fine art blur; each glance reveals new relationships between curves, negative space and tone.
Displayed at Autoworld during this distinguished exhibition, the Art Seat brings together design, utility and expressive abstraction, offering a compelling example of how art can enter everyday interiors with depth and character.
